How do I enroll my child at Amazing Minds?

To enroll your child, simply schedule a tour of our facility first. During the tour, we'll walk you through our programs and answer any questions. After the tour, you'll complete our enrollment forms and provide the required documentation. Our staff will help you through every step of the process!

What documents are required for enrollment?

You'll need to provide: copies of your child's immunization records, a physical examination form completed within the past year, emergency contact information. We also require parent/guardian identification and proof of address.

What is the registration fee?

Our registration fee is $100 per family and is non-refundable. This one-time fee covers your child's enrollment processing and administrative costs. Payment is due at the time of enrollment.

Is there a waitlist?

Yes, due to high demand, we maintain a waitlist for all age groups. We recommend enrolling as early as possible to secure your spot. When a space becomes available, we'll contact families on the waitlist in the order they were received.

What curriculum do you use?

We use a play-based, child-centered curriculum aligned with Massachusetts Early Learning Standards. Our approach focuses on the whole child – cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. We believe children learn best through hands-on exploration, creative play, and meaningful interactions.

What age groups do you serve?

We serve children from 6 weeks to 7 years old, with programs designed for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-kindergarten. Each age group has dedicated classrooms with age-appropriate materials and activities.

What is your teacher-to-child ratio?

We maintain ratios that meet or exceed state licensing requirements: Infants (1:3), Toddlers (1:4), and Preschoolers (1:10). Our low ratios ensure personalized attention and quality care for every child.

Do you provide meals and snacks?

We don't provide meals and snacks. We provide milk, water, and juice at no additional cost. Please pack lunch and snacks for your child each day.

What happens if my child gets sick at school?

If your child becomes ill during the day, we'll contact you immediately. Children must be picked up within 30 minutes if they have a fever (100.4°F or higher), vomiting, diarrhea, or other contagious symptoms. We'll keep your child comfortable and isolated from other children until you arrive.

Are your staff trained in first aid and CPR?

Yes, all our staff maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications. We also require ongoing professional development in child safety, emergency preparedness, and health-related topics. Our center is fully licensed and inspected regularly.

How do you handle food allergies?

We take food allergies very seriously. During enrollment, we'll document all allergies and dietary restrictions. Our staff is trained to recognize allergic reactions, and we maintain allergen-free tables in our classrooms. We can accommodate many dietary needs – please speak with our director about your child's specific requirements.

What security measures do you have in place?

The safety of your child is our top priority. Our facility features secured entry with keypad access, and strict ID verification for pickup. All staff undergo thorough background checks, and we maintain a strict visitor log.

What are your hours of operation?

We're open Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. We offer both full-time and part-time scheduling options to fit your family's needs.

What holidays are you closed?

We observe the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Columbus Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday), Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Can I get a refund for days my child doesn't attend?

Our tuition is based on a monthly reservation of your child's spot, regardless of attendance. This ensures we can maintain proper staffing and ratios. However, we offer a limited number of "vacation credits" per year – please ask our director for details.

What should I pack in my child's bag?

Please pack 2-3 changes of clothes, diapers/pull-ups (if needed), a comfort item for nap time. Label everything with your child's name. We provide milk, water, and juice, but please pack lunch and snacks for your child each day.

Tuition information and policies

How much is tuition?

Tuition rates vary based on your child's age and the program selected (full-time or part-time). We also offer sibling discounts. Please contact us for current rates – we'd be happy to provide a personalized quote based on your needs.

When is tuition due?

Weekly tuition is due by the last day of the prior week, and monthly tuition is due on the 1st of each month. For your convenience, automatic payments are available through our online portal (Mobile App). A $30 late fee will be applied if payment is not received by the 5th of the month.

Do you accept state assistance or subsidies?

Yes! We accept CCFA (Child Care Financial Assistance) subsidies and work with families who receive state assistance. Our staff can help you navigate the application process. We also offer flexible payment plans for qualifying families.

What is your refund policy?

The registration fee is non-refundable. If you withdraw your child, we require two weeks' notice. Tuition paid in advance will be refunded for any unused days beyond the two-week notice period. Please refer to our parent handbook for complete details.
